LeadershipJourney.ca is an organization built with the specific purpose of bringing leadership development solutions to Canada. We are Facilitators with specialized training and experience with the Leadership Challenge. Our Facilitators have a diverse background in business,education, public sector and not for profit operations. Each brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to deliver Leadership Development that has impact.

Maureen O'Leary-Pickard

BACKGROUND

Maureen has spent her career assisting people transform themselves and their organizations by creating strategic focus and then aligning the design of their organization and systems to carry out this focus. She has provided Human Resources and Leadership expertise through Executive Coaching; management and staff training; and system design. Maureen connects with people and helps them develop and master skills that impact their success and the success of their organization. She helps her clients think differently about the issues that challenge them and develop behaviours that work.

AREAS OF EXPERTISE

Maureen is a Founding Partner and consultant with the Leadership Journey. In addition to being a Master Facilitator with the Leadership Challenge, she has expertise in organization design & alignment, change management, strategy development processes, executive coaching and Human Resource Management tools. She is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, and her ongoing studies include Labour Relations at Queen’s University and Alternative Dispute Resolution at UWO. Maureen has certification in Team Management® and completed the diploma in Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University. Maureen has taught at Fanshawe Community College and in a Master-level program at the University of Western Ontario.

She has worked with manufacturing, government, education, hospitals, professional associations and not for profit organizations.
